At P.S. Pet Sit, we take great measures to hire the most dedicated, kind, compassionate pet care professionals imaginable. We are one of only three companies in Philadelphia who hire Employees rather than contractors so that we can legally train our sitters on how to provide stellar service for you and your pets. In addition to training them, we also test our sitters on their knowledge and critique their work on an ongoing basis. We take the time and energy to foster their development as professionals within the pet care industry, which is unlike most companies in the Philadelphia area, and even the country. We fully invest in each of our sitters so that you can too.(*For more about information about our business practices and standards, please click the Menu Heading above, titled "About Us") |
![]() | Zoe (Owner, Manager, Puppy Care Specialist) has a background in animal health care as a Veterinary Assistant, as a Volunteer at Animal Wildlife Refuges and is an avid reader and researcher. She grew up in the theater world in her home town of Key West Florida and studied acting, dance and lighting design. She received a BA in Drama & Dance from Colorado College in 2000 (where she met Scott at a dance audition -- he was trying out for her dance piece!). They moved to Eugene Oregon and there she danced for the Dance Theatre of Oregon and worked as a Vet Assistant. Gaining experience and forming close relationships with the vet clients that came into the clinic, she was asked time and time again to care for pets when they were going out of town - and Voila! A Pet Sitting business was born! Since then she has lived in Europe, NYC, Alaska and back in Key West, where in 2003 she formed and produced works for The Brazen Hussies Dance Company. Always drawn to the arts and the welfare of animals equally, she has always found a way to support her love of both.... except now, she only dances with the dogs! After her world travel and her many years in theatre, she came to Philly to stay and realize her dream and dedicate her time and devotion to Philadelphia pets and their parents... with P.S. PET SIT! |
Scott (Manager, Sitter) is the Head of the Boarding Department here at "Camp P.S. PET SIT", caring for all the little (and not so little) buddies who stay in our home. Coming from a theater background, he is proficient at entertaining all who come to stay with us-- he takes our boarders hiking, swimming, walking, and he's a super cuddler too! He assisted in the development and success of their previous pet sitting business in Oregon, gaining years of experience working with many types of animals. He is great with all of them -- be them cats, chinchillas, birds or his favorite (shhhh! dont tell the others!) --- DOGS. He is the best walker around... strong, patient, loving and dedicated. | ![]() |

Michelle (Overnight Care Specialist & Retriever Monger) has always had a deep respect for all creatures, especially the coolest of them all, dogs! Even though she was never able to have one as a child, she always took the time to play and run around with them whenever she could. After she was long gone from the nest her sister was surprised with a toy poodle named Fritz for her birthday. Since then, whenever she is in town to visit Fritz (which she makes quite often) is there to greet her at the door and they hang like old pals. Michelle eventually went on to pet sit for friends and loved it so much so that that's what led her to become part of the P.S. Pet Sit team.
Michelle grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and moved to the big city to attend Hussian School of Art. Eventually realizing that wasn't the path she wanted to pursue, at least not professionally, she got involved with health and nutrition and became certified as a Raw food Chef and Instructor. She loves to teach healthy living and eating in a fun and approachable way and holds classes regularly throughout the city.
In her leisure time she is a dedicated student of Capoeira, an intense Afro-Brazilian martial art that uses dance to disguise its moves while blending movement and song. In addition to training in Capoeira, teaching, caring for animals, and with boundless energy she enjoys being out in nature, sunshine, reading, and listening to music.

Lola
Lola is new to Philly from LA and is sweeping us all off our feet! She is thoroughly enjoying her walks as her mommy works hard on producing a tv show, and she loves to come to Camp to play with the other PS Campers. If you are around the Piazza, you are sure to see her. She is the sexiest boston terrier east of the Mississippi!
Henri
The doggie mayor of Northern Liberties, you will most definitely see him parading around town - either in Liberty Lands, Third Federal Bank, Hyperion Bank (what can I say, he likes money ;-) or at Fury Design. A stoic little guy most of the time, but when around other dogs or at the beach, he turns into THIS bounding, leaping bundle of joy you see above. Oh, Henri!
Enid
Ok, so seriously: Do you see this face? Enid has stolen our hearts, ran away with them, locked em up in her doggie hope chest and they are never to be heard from again. Walking, playing and cuddling with this little 14 week old is about the most fun you can imagine. We are some lucky dog walkers!!!
JD
Otherwise known as BIG LUG, he is frequent flyer boarder here at Camp. Ladies adore him, girls go batty for him and we people cant get enough of him. Favorite things: Fetching for a ball, taking walks in the Wissahickon and sleeping on Scott's lap. (I mean, he IS a Great Dane/BLack Lab mix, so he's not exaaactly a lap dog, but Scott cant resist!)
