1. Standards of Care
Your Pets: We treat your pets as we would our own - with compassion, love and gentle guidance. Its our job to love them, exercise them, dote on them and support them in being happy, healthy, well-balanced pets while you are away from home.
Your Home: We leave everything as we have found it, or better. Unless told otherwise, we return pets to where we found them (ie crate, in kitchen behind babygate, free roaming, etc) before leaving.
Doors: We keep all doors that were closed upon arrival, closed; We keep them open if we find them open. We keep entrance doors locked at all times.
Weather: If temperatures are slated to be under 30 degrees or over 85 degrees, we may shorten the length of the walks to ensure the safety and health of your pets as well as our walkers. We will never shorten a visit due to weather or any other circumstance. In lieu of longer walks, we may break the walks up into shorter stints and take breaks inside to cool off and sip water, or we may balance out outside time with inside play or cuddling.
Dog Care: If you are away on vacation or business, we require at least 90 minutes of attention each day (Two 45 Min Visits) but highly HIGHLY recommend 3 visits a day, with one visit being a full hour. We find this scenario provides adequate exercise and attention for most dogs and keep them happy -- which keeps you happy =)
Cat Care: In our experience caring for our fabulous felines, we have noticed that visiting with them at least once per day keeps them happy and safe, with clean litter boxes, adequate attention, play, food and water. Happy kitties = Happy pet parents and those are of our two most important goals!
All Animals: If we care for animal, whether it be your turtles, rabbits, chinchillas or hermit crabs, we require to check in on them at least once per day. As their professional care givers, seeing them once a day allows us to provide better care for them and monitor their health, location, and safety.
We obtain keys at the Meet n Greet and are then coded in secret to secure your home in the unlikely event that the keys are ever lost.
Key Pick Up: Clients agree to provide us with three sets of working keys at the Meet n Greet so that we do not have to pick them up at a later time and charge for an extra visit. If only one set is ready, we can either cut another for you or schedule a Key Pick Up time at a later date: Both options incur a fee of $10. We cannot agree to use keys left under a mat, in a lock box or other situation that does not us allow to have complete control and responsibility over the keys.
Key Drop Off: P.S. Pet Sit will not leave keys in your home after last visit. If you expect to be using our services in the future and would like us to keep your keys, we will keep them on file for you, coded and locked in our undisclosed office. If you would like your keys returned after a one-time assignment, please schedule a key-drop-off day/time for some time after you return. Fee for Key Drop Off: $10
3. Scheduling Services
In general, its most efficient to book services on Power Pet Sitter, our scheduling software website, far in advance to secure placement in the schedule and to alleviate any "last minute" scheduling fees.
If you are able to schedule with at least 48 hours notice, your chances of sitter availability dramatically raise, and there is no short notice fee. However, we often can accommodate last minute or same day requests, so we always encourage you to contact us whenever you need us.
For weekend dates, we ask you to give us at least 7 days notice whenever possible. If you cant though and need to schedule with less than 7 days, its ok -- we do our best to accommodate last minute requests and most often are able to approve them without a hitch. =).
Short Notice Booking Fee: If we do book your reservation within 48 hours of the first scheduled services, we charge a Short Notice Rush Booking fee per visit/night/service.
Weekly Dog Walking Under 48 hours: $8 Under 24 hours: $10 In Home Boarding Under 48 hours: $15 Under 24 hours: $20
Canceling Services • First, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you foresee you will not need our services so that we are enabled to be available for other clients. We thank you for your consideration.
• To cancel services with more than 48 hours notice of the first scheduled service in the appt: Log on to our scheduling software, find the appt and cancel services yourself. • If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours notice or after the appt series has begun: Call or email the office with the request. Please wait to receive an email confirmation of the cancellation before assuming we have gotten your request.
Weekly Dog Walking - Dog Walking Clients: Cancel BEFORE 9am the previous day of a scheduled walk to alleviate a fee of any kind. Less than 48 hours: $10 Same Day (or less than 24 hours) Cancellation: Full Visit Fee
In Home Boarding Less than 5 Days Notice: 100% of Invoice total Anytime after Confirmation: 50% of Invoice total
• NOTE: By requesting P.S. Pet Sit’s services, you thereby agree to our cancellation policies and agree to submit payment for canceled services. We do not enforce the submission of deposits because we trust you will pay us the amount that is due if services are confirmed and invoiced.
Same Day Cancellations: Full Visit Fee If you happen to return home early, please contact us as soon as possible to cancel any scheduled visits. If a sitter makes any unnecessary visits, you will be charged the full fee. Call us when you are coming home early… for our sake and yours. We don’t want to walk into your home when you are there and cause alarm.
4. CONFIRMATIONS / INVOICES (Note: They are one in the same)
• After you have become a P.S. Client, you are given instructions on how to register with us, access the scheduling website and request pet care services. • Once you book online, you are sent an Invoice-Confirmation via email within 48 hours after booking online. They will appear in your email inbox as “Pet Appointment Summaries.” • You must check them for accuracy and report back to us if there are any errors. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we assume the appt is correct and cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies after that point. • Please help us book your appts with 100% accuracy by reviewing all confirmations in detail.
5. Payment Options
• Payment accepted in the form of DEBIT or CREDIT CARD only:
Submit your credit card information when filling out your online profile in our scheduling software (Power Pet Sitter). Your card will automatically be charged within 7 days of the due date. After payment has been processed, you will receive a payment confirmation via email.
We are unable to refund monies for cancelled visits or for any other reason after payment has been processed. You will instead have a credit on your account for use of services at a later date.
Due Dates
Dog Walking Clients who book on a Monthly basis: Last Day of Service.
In Home Boarding & Other services: FIRST Day of Service.
6. Late Payments
If payment is not collected in time, due to a declined or rejected card, we will email or call you to alert you. If we do not hear from you within a reasonable amount of time, we will impose a Late Fee of $20 to your account and $10 is added each month for each month it remains late.

Lola
Lola is new to Philly from LA and is sweeping us all off our feet! She is thoroughly enjoying her walks as her mommy works hard on producing a tv show, and she loves to come to Camp to play with the other PS Campers. If you are around the Piazza, you are sure to see her. She is the sexiest boston terrier east of the Mississippi!
Henri
The doggie mayor of Northern Liberties, you will most definitely see him parading around town - either in Liberty Lands, Third Federal Bank, Hyperion Bank (what can I say, he likes money ;-) or at Fury Design. A stoic little guy most of the time, but when around other dogs or at the beach, he turns into THIS bounding, leaping bundle of joy you see above. Oh, Henri!
Enid
Ok, so seriously: Do you see this face? Enid has stolen our hearts, ran away with them, locked em up in her doggie hope chest and they are never to be heard from again. Walking, playing and cuddling with this little 14 week old is about the most fun you can imagine. We are some lucky dog walkers!!!
JD
Otherwise known as BIG LUG, he is frequent flyer boarder here at Camp. Ladies adore him, girls go batty for him and we people cant get enough of him. Favorite things: Fetching for a ball, taking walks in the Wissahickon and sleeping on Scott's lap. (I mean, he IS a Great Dane/BLack Lab mix, so he's not exaaactly a lap dog, but Scott cant resist!)
